Don't ask me how I got this picture!

We got the first letter (mailed on his first day), and he already sounds like he's learned a lot. He said the first day was non-stop busy--no time to feel sad. A friend told him that the minute he stepped inside the door and they put the name tag on him that a lot of nerves would got away...true. He felt like he belonged. He was also told that if he could make it the first five days he'd be able to finish. Today is one week, so he's there! So far he likes his companion, and said he's learning to be more loving and less critical as far as getting along with others. Progress already!
